What Is More Stressful – Bingo Or Poker?
Posted on 12th Aug, 2010
When most people think about online bingo and online poker, they think about fun and profit. They think about the excitement they get when they win a progressive jackpot or turn over a pair of pocket aces to win a large tournament. However, both games involve a pretty large amount of stress if you are playing for money. What game offers a higher level of stress?
In the traditional sense of the word, online poker is a little more stressful. There are a lot more decisions to be made such as knowing which of the casino sites is the best for you, there are a lot more areas where you can make mistakes, and there are a lot more things that could go wrong and cost you a lot of money. Because there is so much strategy involved in online poker and the game is more in depth than online bingo, most will argue that it is more stressful. Some people will also argue that online bingo is more stressful for the exact opposite reasons. When you play online bingo, you are pretty much out of control – you have a very small effect on the outcome of the game. Because of this feeling, many people will say bingo is more stressful – you have money at stake, but you have relatively little control over what happens to it. Playing online bingo is gambling in the truest sense of the word.
While both games do offer stress, they are both only as stressful as you make them out to be. If you are in the right frame of mind and have a solid strategy, poker doesn’t have to be stressful at all. It can be a calming experience to play, even if you are playing with relatively high stakes. The feelings you get from playing both games are totally in your control – you control the level of stress or relaxation you get from both games.
